Terms of Service

1. Service description

Lock In Together is a focus app for iOS and Android, with app blocking, shared focus sessions, progress tracking, a social feed and friend connections. It is free to download. Optional Premium features may require an in-app subscription where available. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the age required by applicable local law, to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information and report unauthorized use. Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or terminated.

3. App Blocking Disclaimer

You choose the apps and duration for each focus session. On iOS, restrictions depend on Apple Screen Time permissions and capabilities. On Android, they depend on usage-access and overlay permissions, device settings and operating-system behavior. Restrictions may stop working if permissions are withdrawn or the operating system interrupts the app. Do not rely on the app to enforce safety-critical or emergency restrictions. Keep essential communication and emergency functions accessible.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Where available, Premium is offered as a monthly or annual subscription. The App Store or Google Play displays the price, billing period and renewal terms before you confirm. No purchase is required to download the app. We do not receive your payment-card details.

Subscriptions renew under the terms displayed by the applicable store until cancelled. Manage or cancel through Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Deleting your Lock In Together account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refund requests follow the applicable store’s policies: Apple billing and refunds or Google Play refunds. Availability of products and features may vary by platform and region.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, harass or harm other users, impersonate others, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another person’s account or private data. Do not tamper with the app or its payment and security controls.

6. Ending your use

You may delete your account in Settings → Delete Account or contact support. Cancel any paid subscription separately through its store. We may restrict accounts for violations of these terms or to protect the service. Data handling after account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and limitations

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or identical app-blocking behavior across devices and operating-system versions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lock In Together and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be identified in the app or on this website. Any new purchase remains subject to the price and terms displayed by its store before confirmation.
