1. Information we process

Lock In Together provides focus tools on iOS and Android. We process account identifiers, email addresses where provided, nicknames, and authentication and security information through Firebase Authentication. Guest accounts do not require an email address. Service records include focus timing and completion, progress, friend connections, shared sessions and feed activity.

App selections and device usage-access events are used on your device to apply blocking. Version 1.2 excludes selected app lists from new cloud session records. Records created by older versions may contain app identifiers until deleted. An optional profile photo is processed only when that feature is available and you choose to use it.

2. Analytics, advertising and purchases

Usage analytics: Firebase Analytics can process app/device information and feature interactions to help improve the app. The upcoming version 1.2 update makes this optional and off by default, controlled by “Share usage analytics” in Settings. Earlier app versions may collect usage analytics without that setting.

Advertising, where enabled: Google AdMob may process IP address, ad/device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Collection and personalized advertising depend on applicable consent and device settings. The app requests the consent SDK’s decision before requesting ads. Ad privacy choices appear in Settings when required; device tracking and advertising settings also apply.

Subscriptions, where available: RevenueCat processes your app account identifier, technical device information and Apple or Google Play transaction evidence to verify Premium access and restore purchases. Payments are handled by the store; we do not receive your payment-card details.

3. How information is used and shared

We use service information to operate accounts, focus and social features, maintain progress, verify subscriptions and protect the service. Shared-session and social information is visible to the people participating in those features. Optional analytics supports product improvement, and advertising supports eligible free features.

Providers include Google Firebase for authentication, storage and analytics; Google AdMob for advertising; and RevenueCat with Apple or Google Play for subscription verification. We do not sell account or focus-history records. We may disclose information where required by law or needed to protect users’ rights and safety.

Provider information: Firebase privacy, Google privacy, RevenueCat privacy, and Apple privacy.

4. Storage and security

The primary Cloud Firestore database for account and shared-session records is in Google Cloud’s Seoul region (asia-northeast3). Other Firebase services and the providers listed above may process information in other locations under their policies. Firebase provides encryption in transit and at rest. No service can guarantee absolute security.

5. Retention and account deletion

We retain account and service records while your account is active. In the app, open Settings → Delete Account, or send a request from your account email to support@lockintogether.com. If in-app deletion fails, retry or contact support.

We process verified deletion requests within 30 days, except records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes. Provider backups and store transaction records may have separate retention periods.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in the store’s subscription settings. Store account and purchase records remain subject to Apple’s or Google’s policies. Manage a subscription or request a refund.

6. Your choices and rights

You can update account details, request access, correction or deletion, and contact us about other rights available in your location. In version 1.2, usage analytics is an independent, optional Settings choice. Advertising consent, where required, can be managed through the app’s ad privacy choices. You can also change your device’s advertising and tracking settings.

7. Children

Lock In Together is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have done so, we will promptly delete it. If local law requires a higher age or parental permission, those requirements apply.

8. Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy when the service or data practices change. Material updates will be identified in the app or on this website, and we will obtain additional consent where required for new optional processing.
